Privacy
Your information stays confidential.
Reports can be submitted anonymously. We don't sell or share your data, use third-party trackers, or identify people who submit reports. Information is only disclosed to relevant authorities with your permission.
UberFife is a volunteer-led campaign. We take privacy seriously and collect only the information we need to operate this website, respond to enquiries and investigate reports submitted to us.
Information you provide
We may collect information when you contact us, submit a report, provide evidence or otherwise communicate with the campaign.
You may submit a report anonymously. However, where we cannot independently verify an anonymous report, we may decide not to publish or act upon it.
You should avoid providing personal information about yourself or others unless it is relevant to the matter being reported.
Confidential reports
Reports and supporting information submitted to UberFife are treated as confidential.
We will not disclose your identity or information identifying you without your permission.
Where you give us permission to disclose information, it will only be provided where relevant to an appropriate authority, such as Fife Council or Police Scotland.
Giving us permission to publish information on this website does not automatically give us permission to disclose your identity to an authority, or vice versa.
Publication of reports
Reports or information published by UberFife will be anonymous by default.
We may edit, redact or withhold information to protect the identity of the person making the report, passengers, drivers or other individuals.
We may choose not to publish information that we cannot reasonably verify.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade or share personal information with third parties for advertising, marketing or commercial purposes.
Information will only be disclosed where you have authorised us to do so, or where disclosure is required by law.

Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Where cookies are technically necessary for the website to function, they are used only for that purpose.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was supplied, including dealing with a report, correspondence or any related regulatory or legal matter.
Your rights
